| The coalition work is made possible by the contributions of its members and donors. NBGMAC’s founding was made possible through the generosity of the New York Community Trust support of the former People of Color in Crisis. Since our incorporation, contributions from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Evelyn and Walter Haas Jr. Fund, Levi Strauss Foundation and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation have provided early and essential support. NBGMAC’s leadership has sought to reduce expenses and organizational redundancy through a model of shared resources. In-kind support for housing has been provided by Us Helping Us, an organization dedicated to addressing HIV among black, gay men headquartered in Washington, DC.
